1. Cartoon Movie moves to Bordeaux in 2017
Cartoon Movie, the European co-production forum for feature-length animation films, will be held in Bordeaux from 8th to 10th March 2017. The city of Bordeaux was chosen for the strength of its digital economy, for the quality of its Bordeaux Congress Centre, and for the dynamism of a metropolitan city. Another reason is that Bordeaux is close to Angoulême where the Pôle Image Magelis clusters thirty animation studios.
“Cartoon Games & Apps” will also take place to encourage collaborative project between the European animation film sector and video games and transmedia sector to establish a new synergy and to expand the commercial opportunities.
